TASHKENT, Jun. 7, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : Uzbekistan defeated Singapore by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Uzbek top of Group 4 with 12 points. Singapore is third with 3 points. In their next game, Uzbekistan will meet Lebanon on June 14, while Singapore will face Saudi Arabia.
