SINGAPORE, Jun. 14, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : Saudi Arabia defeated Singapore by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Saudi second in Group 4 with 12 points. Singapore is third with 3 points. In their last game, Saudi Arabia will meet group leaders Uzbekistan on June 22, while Singapore will face Lebanon.
