TASHKENT, Jun. 14, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : Uzbekistan defeated Lebanon by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Uzbek top of Group 4 with 15 points. Lebanon is bottom with no points. In their last game, Uzbekistan will meet second-placed Saudi Arabia on June 22, while Lebanon will face Singapore.
