ABU DHABI, Feb. 6, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : The United Arab Emirates defeated Kuwait by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Emirati top of Group 5 with 3 points. In their next game, the United Arab Emirates will meet second-placed Syria on March 26, while Kuwait will face Iran.
