KUWAIT CITY, Mar. 26, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Asian Qualifiers) : Kuwait tied 2-2 with Iran (halftime: 1-2), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Iranians second in Group 5 with 2 points. Kuwait is bottom with one point. In their next game, Iran will meet group leaders the United Arab Emirates on June 2, while Kuwait will face Syria.
