SAN JOSé, Feb. 11, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (American Qualifiers) : Costa Rica defeated Honduras by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Fourth Round) on Wednesday night.
The result put the Costa Ricans top of the group with 3 points. In their next game, Costa Rica will meet Mexico on March 28, while Honduras will face Trinidad and Tobago.
