SAN PEDRO SULA, Aug. 12, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (American Qualifiers) : Honduras defeated Costa Rica by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Fourth Round) on Wednesday night.
The result put the Costa Ricans top of the group with 12 points. Honduras is second with 10 points. In their next game, Costa Rica will meet Mexico on September 5, while Honduras will face Trinidad and Tobago.
