MEXICO CITY, Sep. 9, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (American Qualifiers) : Mexico defeated Honduras by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Fourth Round) on Wednesday night.
The result put the Mexicans second in the group with 15 points. Honduras is third with 13 points. In their next game, Mexico will meet El Salvador on October 10, while Honduras will face the United States.
