SAN JOSé, Oct. 10, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (American Qualifiers) : Costa Rica defeated Trinidad and Tobago by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Fourth Round) on Saturday night.
The result put the Costa Ricans third in the group with 15 points. Trinidad and Tobago is bottom with 5 points. In their last game, Costa Rica will meet group leaders the United States on October 14, while Trinidad and Tobago will face Mexico.
