HAVANA, Aug. 20, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (American Qualifiers) : Trinidad and Tobago defeated Cuba by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Trinidadians top of Group 1 with 3 points. In their next game, Trinidad and Tobago will meet Guatemala on September 6, while Cuba will face the United States.
