KINGSTON, Oct. 11, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (American Qualifiers) : Jamaica defeated Mexico by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Mexicans top of Group 2 with 9 points. Jamaica is third with 4 points. In their next game, Mexico will meet Canada on October 15, while Jamaica will face Honduras.
