KINGSTON, Oct. 15, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (American Qualifiers) : Jamaica defeated Honduras by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Hondurans second in Group 2 with 9 points. Jamaica is third with 7 points. In their last game, Honduras will meet group leaders Mexico on November 19, while Jamaica will face Canada.
