SAN SALVADOR, Sep. 6, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (American Qualifiers) : El Salvador defeated Haiti by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Salvadorans second in Group 3 with 3 points. Haiti is third with one point. In their next game, El Salvador will meet Suriname on September 10, while Haiti will face Costa Rica.
