BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 13, 2007 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (South American Qualifiers) : Argentina defeated Chile by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Saturday afternoon.

The result put the Argentine second in the group with 3 points. In their next game, Argentina will meet Venezuela on October 16, while Chile will face Peru.
