ASUNCIóN, Nov. 17, 2007 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (South American Qualifiers) : Paraguay defeated Ecuador by a big score of 5-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Saturday night.
The result put the Paraguayans second in the group with 7 points. Ecuador is bottom with no points. In their next game, Paraguay will meet Chile on November 21, while Ecuador will face Peru.
