SANTIAGO DE CHILE, Nov. 21, 2007 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (South American Qualifiers) : Paraguay defeated Chile by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Wednesday night.
The result put the Paraguayans top of the group with 10 points. Chile is 7th with 4 points. In their next game, Paraguay will meet third-placed Brazil on June 15, while Chile will face Bolivia.
