BUENOS AIRES, Sep. 6, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (South American Qualifiers) : Argentina tied 1-1 with Paraguay (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Paraguayans top of the group with 14 points. Argentina is second with 12 points. In their next game, Paraguay will meet Venezuela on September 9, while Argentina will face Peru.
