BOGOTá, Sep. 6, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (South American Qualifiers) : Uruguay defeated Colombia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Saturday night.
The result put the Uruguayans third in the group with 11 points. Colombia is fourth with 10 points. In their next game, Uruguay will meet Ecuador on September 10, while Colombia will face Chile.
