BOGOTá, Oct. 11, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (South American Qualifiers) : Paraguay defeated Colombia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Saturday night.
The result put the Paraguayans top of the group with 20 points. Colombia is 6th with 10 points. In their next game, Paraguay will meet Peru on October 15, while Colombia will face Brazil.
