SAN CRISTOBAL, Oct. 12, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (South American Qualifiers) : Brazil defeated Venezuela by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Sunday afternoon.

The result put the Brazilians second in the group with 16 points. Venezuela is 9th with 7 points. In their next game, Brazil will meet Colombia on October 15, while Venezuela will face Ecuador.
