SANTIAGO DE CHILE, Oct. 15, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (South American Qualifiers) : Chile defeated Argentina by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Wednesday night.
The result put the Argentine third in the group with 16 points. Chile is fourth with 16 points. In their next game, Argentina will meet Venezuela on March 28, while Chile will face Peru.
