BUENOS AIRES, Mar. 28, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (South American Qualifiers) : Argentina defeated Venezuela by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Saturday night.

The result put the Argentine second in the group with 19 points. Venezuela is 8th with 10 points. In their next game, Argentina will meet Bolivia on April 1, while Venezuela will face Colombia.
