PUERTO ORDAZ, Mar. 31, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (South American Qualifiers) : Venezuela defeated Colombia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Tuesday night.
The result put the Colombians 6th in the group with 14 points. Venezuela is 8th with 13 points. In their next game, Colombia will meet second-placed Argentina on June 6, while Venezuela will face Bolivia.
