BUENOS AIRES, Jun. 6, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (South American Qualifiers) : Argentina defeated Colombia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Saturday night.

The result put the Argentine third in the group with 22 points. Colombia is 8th with 14 points. In their next game, Argentina will meet Ecuador on June 10, while Colombia will face Peru.
