LA PAZ, Jun. 6, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (South American Qualifiers) : Venezuela defeated Bolivia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Venezuelans 6th in the group with 16 points. Bolivia is 9th with 12 points. In their next game, Venezuela will meet Uruguay on June 10, while Bolivia will face Chile.
