PUERTO ORDAZ, Jun. 10, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (South American Qualifiers) : Venezuela tied 2-2 with Uruguay (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Wednesday night.
The result put the Uruguayans 6th in the group with 18 points. Venezuela is 8th with 17 points. In their next game, Uruguay will meet Peru on September 5, while Venezuela will face Chile.
