BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 10, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (South American Qualifiers) : Argentina defeated Peru by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Saturday night.
The result put the Argentine fourth in the group with 25 points. Peru is bottom with 10 points. In their last game, Argentina will meet Uruguay on October 14, while Peru will face Bolivia.
