MEDELLIN, Oct. 10, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (South American Qualifiers) : Chile defeated Colombia by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Chilians second in the group with 30 points. Colombia is 8th with 20 points. In their last game, Chile will meet Ecuador on October 14, while Colombia will face Paraguay.
