BUDAPEST, Sep. 5, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (European Qualifiers) : Sweden defeated Hungary by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Hungarians second in Group 1 with 13 points. Sweden is third with 12 points. In their next game, Hungary will meet Portugal on September 9, while Sweden will face Malta.
