COPENHAGEN, Oct. 10, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (European Qualifiers) : Denmark defeated Sweden by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Dane top of Group 1 with 21 points. Sweden is second with 15 points. In their last game, Denmark will meet Hungary on October 14, while Sweden will face Albania.
