PIRAEUS, Oct. 11, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (European Qualifiers) : Greece defeated Moldova by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Greek top of Group 2 with 9 points. Moldova is bottom with no points. In their next game, Greece will meet third-placed Switzerland on October 15, while Moldova will face Luxembourg.
