CHISINAU, Mar. 28, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (European Qualifiers) : Switzerland defeated Moldova by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Swiss top of Group 2 with 10 points. Moldova is bottom with one point. In their next game, Switzerland will meet Moldova on April 1, while Moldova will face Switzerland.
