TEL AVIV, Sep. 9, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (European Qualifiers) : Israel defeated Luxembourg by a big score of 7-0 (halftime: 4-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Israelians fourth in Group 2 with 12 points. Luxembourg is 5th with 5 points. In their next game, Israel will meet Moldova on October 10, while Luxembourg will face Switzerland.
