LUXEMBOURG, Oct. 10, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (European Qualifiers) : Switzerland defeated Luxembourg by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Swiss top of Group 2 with 20 points. Luxembourg is 5th with 5 points. In their last game, Switzerland will meet Israel on October 14, while Luxembourg will face Greece.
