MARIBOR, Aug. 12, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (European Qualifiers) : Slovenia defeated San Marino by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Slovenians third in Group 3 with 11 points. San Marino is bottom with no points. In their next game, Slovenia will meet Poland on September 9, while San Marino will face Czech republic.
