HELSINKI, Jun. 10, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (European Qualifiers) : Russia defeated Finland by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Russians second in Group 4 with 15 points. Finland is third with 10 points. In their next game, Russia will meet Liechtenstein on September 5, while Finland will face Azerbaijan.
