ST. PETERSBURG, Sep. 5, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (European Qualifiers) : Russia defeated Liechtenstein by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Russians second in Group 4 with 18 points. Liechtenstein is bottom with one point. In their next game, Russia will meet Wales on September 9, while Liechtenstein will face Finland.
