ISTANBUL, Oct. 11, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (European Qualifiers) : Turkey defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.

The result put the Turk second in Group 5 with 7 points. Bosnia and Herzegovina is fourth with 3 points. In their next game, Turkey will meet Estonia on October 15, while Bosnia and Herzegovina will face Armenia.
