BRUSSELS, Oct. 10, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (European Qualifiers) : Belgium defeated Turkey by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Turk third in Group 5 with 12 points. Belgium is fourth with 10 points. In their last game, Turkey will meet Armenia on October 14, while Belgium will face Estonia.
