BELGRADE, Sep. 6, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (European Qualifiers) : Serbia defeated the Faroe islands by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Serbians top of Group 7 with 3 points. In their next game, Serbia will meet France on September 10, while the Faroe islands will face Romania.
