BELGRADE, Oct. 11, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (European Qualifiers) : Serbia defeated Lithuania by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Serbians top of Group 7 with 6 points. Lithuania is second with 6 points. In their next game, Serbia will meet third-placed Austria on October 15, while Lithuania will face the Faroe islands.
