TBILISI, Oct. 11, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (European Qualifiers) : Georgia tied 1-1 with Cyprus (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Cypriot 5th in Group 8 with one point. Georgia is bottom with one point. In their next game, Cyprus will meet second-placed Ireland on October 15, while Georgia will face Bulgaria.
