Germany beats Brazil to reach World Cup final
BELO HORIZONTE, Jul. 8, 2014 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 : Germany reached the FIFA World Cup final for the eighth time in their history with a 7-1 win against Brazil (halftime: 5-0) on Tuesday afternoon at the Mineirao Stadium in Belo Horizonte.
Toni Kroos and André Schürrle scored dual goals
Germany dominated the first half thanks to goals from Müller ('11), Klose ('23), Kroos ('24, '26) and Khedira ('29). Leading 5-0 at the break, the Germans further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Schürrle '69, '79).
