Argentina beats Netherlands in shoot out to reach World Cup final
SãO PAULO, Jul. 9, 2014 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 : Argentina reached the FIFA World Cup final for the fifth time in their history after defeating the Netherlands 4-2 on penalties (after a 0-0 draw) on Wednesday afternoon at the Arena Corinthians in São Paulo.
The score was still nil-all at the end of the regulation game time and overtime. The Argentines finally emerged the victors in the penalty shootout session by winning 4-2.
