DOHA, Nov. 14, 2012 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (Asian Qualifiers) : Qatar defeated Lebanon by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday afternoon.
The result put the Qatari third in Group A with 7 points. Lebanon is bottom with 4 points. In their next game, Qatar will meet group leaders South Korea on March 26, while Lebanon will face Uzbekistan.
