DOHA, Jun. 4, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (Asian Qualifiers) : Iran defeated Qatar by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night.
The result put the Iranians third in Group A with 10 points. Qatar is fourth with 7 points. In their next game, Iran will meet Lebanon on June 11, while Qatar will face Uzbekistan.
