SEOUL, Jun. 11, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (Asian Qualifiers) : South Korea defeated Uzbekistan by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night.
The result put the Koreans top of Group A with 14 points. Uzbekistan is third with 11 points. In their last game, South Korea will meet second-placed Iran on June 18, while Uzbekistan will face Qatar.
