AMMAN, Nov. 15, 2011 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (Asian Qualifiers) : Iraq defeated Jordan by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night.
The result put the Jordanians top of Group A with 12 points. Iraq is second with 12 points. In their last game, Jordan will meet third-placed China on February 29, while Iraq will face Singapore.
