BEIRUT, Sep. 6, 2011 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (Asian Qualifiers) : Lebanon defeated the United Arab Emirates by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday afternoon.
The result put the Lebanese third in Group B with 3 points. UAE is bottom with no points. In their next game, Lebanon will meet second-placed Kuwait on October 11, while the United Arab Emirates will face South Korea.
