KUWAIT CITY, Nov. 15, 2011 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (Asian Qualifiers) : Kuwait defeated the United Arab Emirates by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday afternoon.
The result put the Kuwaiti third in Group B with 8 points. UAE is bottom with no points. In their last game, Kuwait will meet group leaders South Korea on February 29, while the United Arab Emirates will face Lebanon.
